"The 30 Pieces of Silver was Never Just A Betrayal"
Matthew 27:3-5 KJV — Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
I wonder if any of the priests and scribes that conspired to give Judas Iscariot the 30 pieces of silver to betray Jesus Christ even had the slightest understanding that they were prophetically confirming He is God?
Zechariah 11:13 KJV — And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
"A goodly price that I was prised at..." Jesus Christ IS the LORD.
Bonus info:
First mention of 30 pieces of silver is
Exodus 21:32 KJV — If the ox shall push a manservant or a maidservant; he shall give unto their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.
If the laborer (ox) pushes the man-servant towards death, they that sent that laborer will give 30 pieces of silver to the master, and that laborer would be put to death. They sent Judas to push Jesus towards death, gave the 30 pieces of silver to Judas, he threw the money to the temple (he wasn't the proper recipient, but the Master receives the price), and Judas killed himself (Acts 1:16-18) also being burst by stone... Law fulfilled.
