You’re Praying for the Blessing… But Not the Strength to Carry It

When we pray for enlarged territory, but not the strength and wisdom to manage it;

When we pray for a spouse, but not the forgiving heart and faithfulness to cover them;

When we pray for increase, but not to be rooted in charity, as glorifying the Lord...

These are the kinds of things that tend to confuse us when God responds, "No", or "Not yet". We get disappointed though we don't know all things, or the magnitude of horrors God saved us from, or what incredible things He has lined up for us.

Waiting upon the Lord isn't doing nothing: it's trusting God and moving in what He's led you to; refusing to press without Him. There was a lot of obedience that led to "stand still and see the salvation of the Lord"!!! Be glorified evermore Father, by Your Son dwelling in us, and we in Him!!!
